Web recruiting MHR project leaves 80% of applicants extremely satisfied

Queen’s University Belfast, a world class university in Northern Ireland with over 30,000 students and 3,500 staff has a well-established relationship as a customer for MHR.

Following the upgrade to iTrent, an extremely configurable, single web solution for talent management, workforce planning, HR and payroll, the Queen’s University Belfast underwent a project initiated to implement web recruitment, delivering a user friendly solution on time and within budget.

The first seven months of the project establishment recorded that 5,736 applicants had used the system. Feedback was provided by 47% of those applicants on the new web recruiting experience and 81% scored it a four or five out of five for ease of applying. Glenn Campbell, Project Manager at Queen’s University Belfast, comments that: “The director of HR identified the project as key to achieving his recruitment related objectives, which provided the project with a clear corporate mandate; a measurable HR objective; and a defined project goal to return to it later.”
